Turtles

God is a stack of turtles
supporting the universe;
where the turtles came from
or what they are standing on,
no one seems to care.

We think we know better,
that physics have made us God.
But the Greeks reached "Truth"
(Whatever that may be)
just by looking around
to see what they could see.

When the wind batters our sails
doctrine and dogma devour
new ideas about the world.

So: we must change course.

On the horizon I see
More and more who look around
and ask "why?"

They are not so sure
that turtles is a sufficient
answer after all.

You're correct. The world is ripe for a new mode of thinking. That's why we must formulate our super creamy religion/cult. We can appeal to the plight of the masses--to the downtrodden, and to the aimless. We need to engineer a large hoax of some kind to sway attention toward us. Then we can setup a large, infrastructure and start sucking in our required 5% income from our brothers.

Maybe we should just offer Mormonism at half price. 5% instead of 10%. That makes good financial sense if you're a Mormon. What could we call it:

Lessmonism -- No. This makes the religion sound weak.

Mormoneyforyouism -- Hmm. A bit long.

Mormonism.NET -- Getting warmer.

Mormonism -- Yah. We should probably just leave the name the same, but advertise the half off in another way.

And of course, enrollment comes with a free gift: The multimedia roller-coaster of "The DVD of Mormon".
